Thinking this was the newest of the Jenkins's books I ordered this, after waiting more than a year, for the reprint. Arriving it looked familiar. I had bought this book a long time ago already, but just started to work with it. Is has a few examples of animals, that is handy. But behaving like a good girl, I almost read the book in its entirety. Since I am vision impaired it took long to finish.
The book is of top quality, so I may have a nice present for one of my family members or friends. Why not send it back? Living out of the U,S, of A., too much trouble.

I watch Gary's program on PBS and love the paintings he does. Hopefully I will be able to replicate. I have been painting for 18 years and feel with his instructions I can do it.
This is my fourth "Beauty of Oil Painting I've bought. Lessons are very detailed. I paint in oils and have learned so much from Gary Jenkins and turned out some really nice works as a result. Their work with floral paintings is just unsurpassed. I can't say enough. You won't be disappointed!
Great painting instructions with many color photo references. Great way to learn to paint. It is like being an apprentice to a master painter. This is companion to the series shown on PBS. I recorded the series, but also love the book.
